I have been wearing Smartwool socks for as long as I can remember! They have lots of different styles and colors. I am not sure why I started wearing them so many years ago. I have been getting lots of blisters lately. I am not sure why. Is it my shoes? Is it my socks?
(Yes! I know they are different colors. It is more of a lazy thing than anything.
2 things about Smartwool:
Very comfortable but very expensive!
They also become holey more quickly than I would like. What can I say I am hard on my socks! Go hard or go home…Right?
When they told us we were going to get some Swiftwick socks, for being on the Nuun HTC team, I was super excited. I really wanted to try out some new socks.
I feel like it is kind of like shoes. In the past 8 years of running I have run in Asics, Nikes, and now Brooks/Hokas. I have always worn Smartwool.
It was definitely time for a change. I was hoping I would like the Swiftwick socks.
Green Vibe One—> There is a 1-inch cuff to provide ankle support and vibration dampening.
I have worn these socks multiple times since HTC. I.LOVE.THEM. They feel great on my feet. They do not slip. Everything I want in a sock. I do prefer a sock that is a little lower though.
Green Stripped Vision Twelve—> Long Compression.
I have worn these a few times. I like them but not love them. They are not super tight like some of my other compression socks. I will wear them more in the winter when I just want to wear high socks.
2 of the great things about Swiftwicks:
8 different product/styles. Each design is defined by construction and content with the objective of: optimal breathability, durability, comfort, and support.
7 different heights. Going from ankle height to knee height.
Swiftwick has graciously decided to give one of my readers a pair of Aspire Green Zero socks. Awesome right?!!
