My Life Has Changed For The Good...I Think?!

If you have ever run with me in the last 6 years you would know in my earlier days I wore baggie Nike stretch pants. They were too long. I was too lazy to get them hemmed. They would drag under my shoes. Lets not talk about what would happen in the rain. Kara made fun of them every chance she got! I finally came into the 21st Century and bought some fitted/tight capris’ summer of 2011. I thought my life changed then. They were so much more comfortable. What was I waiting for all those years I wore the long pants that dragged under my shoes? The problem was: winter came along! My legs were cold all of last winter. I stuck it out for the long haul though! I tried on long running “tights”. I just didn’t like them.

Now if you have been a reader for more than a week you would know that I bought these at Nike the other day:

I tried them on again and thought what the heck. My legs will be warmer and they will thank me for it. I was a little nervous to wear them but my life has definitely changed for the good! I went out for a run this morning and it wasn’t exactly warm but not 30 degrees either.

Laura and I set out to run Terwilliger. My legs could not have felt better. Why did it take me so long to start wearing these?! I am glad I finally bit the bullet and bought some!!

My run went fantastic. It has been 59 days since I wore my Garmin. I wanted to just check things out and things looked good. I was just out for a steady run. Nothing crazy and that is what I did!!

Anybody run in the sun today?!!
